Having originally been established in 2003, & grown steadily since that time, Craggan Outdoors has now moved into the next stage of the business’ development with a recent change in ownership & management. New owners Keith & Jill Ballam have moved up from the south of England & will be the new full-time management team. Commenting on the move, Keith said: “Craggan Outdoors is a fantastic place, with a great job of building it from scratch having been done by the previous owners.”

He continued: ”The location at the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, sitting beside both the River Spey & the main A95 Grantown-on-Spey to Aviemore road is second to none for both beauty & accessibility. The majority of activities that we offer are on-site, minimising the time spent travelling to & from activities, & of course our impact on the environment. And with our own bunkhouse & bothy accommodation, as well as a welcoming & cosy licensed cafe, we really can offer the full package for activity-seeking visitors to the area. Jill & I are really excited about welcoming customers old & new to Craggan Outdoors over the coming months & years, & to the longer term challenge of building one of the premier outdoor activity centres in the Scottish Highlands!”
